Weddings for Visitors:
We specialize in elegant, intimate weddings for couples from away... other Canadian provinces, U.S., Europe, and other countries. We can help you pull together all the elements for your special day and beyond. Please also see our Honeymoon page!
Service options may include the following:
- 3 meetings by phone, 1-2 meetings when you arrive plus meeting at the ceremony and reception venues
- Research venues, providing a variety of themes and locations from which to select
- Provide rates and information for local vendor services, including caterers, florists, decorations, gifts and favors, clergy, ceremony and reception venues, music and entertainment, videographers, dance instructors, and photographers (sample tapes, videos, pictures, and other information as available)
- Contract with selected vendors
- Provide vacation rental and B&B information for a fantastic honeymoon in the Maritimes
- Work with all vendors prior to and including the wedding day
- Assist out of town guests with lodging, car rentals and visitor information
- Schedule hair and nail appointments for the bride, or even a spa day!
- Schedule a round of golf or day sail for the groom!
- Coordinate the rehearsal
- Ceremony and reception set-up and breakdown
- Timing of reception events and handling all unforeseen issues
- Coordinate payment for vendors
- Wedding night welcome basket with fresh flowers, champagne, French chocolates and Nova Scotia wild blueberry tea!
Weddings for Local Couples:
Wedding planning services for larger, usually local weddings, from post engagement to the wedding day!
Service options may include the following:
- Wedding themes, concepts and design
- Manage your personalized schedule, budget assistance and essential details
- Research venues, providing a variety of themes and locations from which to select
- Scheduled consultations and meetings
- Provide rates and information for local vendor services, including caterers, florists, decorations, gifts and favors, clergy, ceremony and reception venues, music and entertainment, videographers, dance instructors, and photographers (sample tapes, videos, pictures, music if available)
- Contract with selected vendors
- Coordinate the wedding party duties
- Coordinate the printing and mailing of invitations
- Assist out of town guests with lodging, car rentals and visitor information
- Schedule hair and nail appointments for the bridal party, or even a spa day!
- Develop a seating plan
- Coordinate the rehearsal
- Work with all vendors prior to and including the wedding day
- Ceremony and reception set-up and breakdown
- Timing of reception events and handle all unforeseen issues
- Coordinate payment for vendors

- Schedule hair and nail appointments for the bridal party, or even a spa day!
- Schedule a round of golf or day sail for the groom!

Wedding Consultation:
Susan can provide consultation services, which includes an initial phone meeting. Information will then be provided by email or scheduled phone meeting.
